Usage

  1. Open a Google Meet with captions enabled.
  2. Click the Google Meet Captions bookmarklet — a control panel appears.
  3. Click Start Recording to continuously save captions to a local .md file.
  4. Click Stop Recording when done. The file includes speaker names, timestamps, participants, and duration.
  5. Or click Copy to copy the current visible captions to the clipboard.
